Located in Pajarito, towards the road that leads to the plain. This reserve occupies 0.11% of the total area of the municipality (0.32 km²), declared as such by agreement 004 of the Municipal Council in the session of February 16, 2000. This area is potentially important for managed ecotourism. It is important to protect this area by acquiring land comprising the surrounding forest area. Being the second highest waterfall in Colombia and one of the last natural reserves of the eastern mountain range, we can appreciate the spectacular landscape that has our region where the water is clearly 100% natural and the waters of the waterfall are from the Cusiana River, one of the most important water arteries in the Casanare Centre.
